My Review:

Complete with an entertaining narrative, cute and caring characters, and playful paintings, Bunnies to the Rescue! invites young readers to an exciting outdoor adventure full of fun discoveries.

Once informed by the Bunny Network that a bunny has been captured by a little boy, Briella, Bryson and Bennett waste no time going on a rescue mission. They track down the boy and his family as the bunny of concern is taken to seemingly dangerous places around the island, and wait for the right moment to step in. To their relief, however, the bunny is in good hands and doesn't really need to be rescued.

Set on the beautiful island of Nantucket, the story shares insightful messages about friendship, kindness and preconceptions through a team of warmhearted indigenous bunnies, who come to the realization that true friendship may transcend differences in personalities, specialties, family backgrounds and even species. What matters is that friends take care of each other and have each other's back. Their story also suggests that things are not always as they seem.

While the book keeps young readers concerned about the plush bunny's safety and whereabouts, it cleverly introduces them to various points of interest on Nantucket, such as the Children's Beach, the Whaling Museum, the Brant Point Lighthouse and the Maria Mitchell Aquarium. My Review:

As the latest season of one of the world's most watched shows, The Chosen: Last Supper retells the classic story through creative cinematic expression. 

The acting, the camerawork and the background music work seamlessly together to bring us back to the last days of Jesus' life. The show starts with the powerful speech Jesus delivers at the table. Jonathan Roumie continues to impress me with his engaging performance, which helps the audience feel the pains Jesus had to endure and understand the sacrifices he chose to make in order to save his people.

I've only watched the first episode of the new season and can hardly wait to get more of the show. I'm sure fans of the series will enjoy The Chosen: Last Supper as much as I did.

With her favorite shirt on and all her project supplies packed, Alycat can't wait to share with everyone her Magical Volcano Explosion on Science Fair Day. Her excitement gets dampened however, when she finds out that Lucy is not only wearing the same shirt (in a different color) but also doing the same project (with a different name). Her anxiety about winning the competition gets heightened as she fails to find the most important ingredient of her experiment from her box of supplies. To her surprise and embarrassment, Lucy comes to her rescue. Could Alycat be wrong about the copycat situation all along?

Written with humor and gripping plot twists, the book keeps young readers engaged as they follow Alycat's dramatic mood changes triggered by various unexpected events. They may identify with Alycat as someone who strives to be unique and original in every aspect of life. Using the composition of oxygen as an analogy, the story makes the point that being similar doesn't have to be a bad thing and that two same things may work wonder when they join forces. Its STEM theme may spark the little ones' interest in science. They can get started by replicating Alycat's volcano experiment with instructions provided at the end of the story.
